Restaurant Limbourg in Cologne

My absolute recommendation if you are looking for a place for a romantic dinner. The lighting is pleasantly subdued, there is soft music and you don't sit on your skin. The service is empathetic: immediately available when you need it, but otherwise pleasantly in the background. The most important thing is the food: with every course you get the feeling that they are cooked with love and that the creations also look beautiful.

Absolutely fantastic: food, service, atmosphere!

This enchanting restaurant is a bit hidden on the small Limburgerstrasse. Inside you feel a bit like in Paris, but the beautifully overgrown small inner courtyard is also a good choice. Very ambitious chefs use fresh, often regional ingredients to conjure up extremely delicious creations that also look beautiful. 100% recommendation.

The starter and wines were superb. The main course so-so.

The four of us ate here last week and we all enjoyed it here. Great, good and nicely presented food. The staff is very courteous and always friendly. The Limbourg restaurant comes highly recommended.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere

Very nice, furnished with attention to details Restaurant. The two of us sat in the small but very cozy garden of the restaurant. The service was always attentive and friendly, but never intrusive. To eat! We liked the fresh of food and its preparation really excited. Here someone has a special desire to bring to the plate. We ate a 3 course menu here that we put together ourselves. The ambience is very French, with an elegant touch. Very suitable for a nice evening for two or with friends. The service is courteous, competent, combined with a pleasant ease. The best thing at the end is the kitchen. Here the fine palate gets its money's worth. Here, freshness is at the top and interesting creations are worked on that are not found everywhere. I would recommend Limbourg to anyone who wants to experience something extraordinary culinary

We celebrated our wedding in Limbourg last year in August! Everything was excellent from A to Z! Really great preliminary talk for the big day, everything was organized down to the smallest detail. Fantastic wine selection to eat with. The owner and his team are passionate about it. Everything went very well on the big day and the food was fantastic. Service one! The best restaurant in Cologne. Owner and conditions are very friendly and nice. The food was simply delicious without words. You can tell that there is a lot of effort behind it and that it is prepared with love.

Quality that convinces! One of my favorite restaurants in Cologne. The ambience of the service always creates a special evening. The menu is not like a "phone book", but it is designed in such a way that amazing quality can be guaranteed. They did a great job with everything. Time in between courses was much longer than I would have it but I think that's mostly a cultural thing. Well done, special thanks to the kitchen folk.

Absolutely recommended! If you want to spend a nice evening, this is the place for you. Tasty wine selection, high quality food, which stands out from all the restaurants in the Belgian quarter. Priced therefore not cheap, but worth it. Quality has its price. We enjoyed the evening, come back for sure. Thanks for the great and attentive service.

Cute and cosy restaurant. The food was so fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed our evening here.

If Im not completely mistaken, my beloved cavalier n I have been already several times in this special spot - which is NOT our habbit at all: visiting the same restaurant more than 1-2x except for a quick dinner since we were all starved to death n noone wanted to cook at home. I even stil know where we shared the table with one lovely couple a view years back. At the second visit were only 2 of us sharing the candle light dinner about a year after that which turned up to be very nice as well. To make our third 'rendezvous' a little different, we ordered the 4 Course Menu with its accompanying wines (means different wine to each course) plus an apperitif. It was really the night to remember. Not only bec each course was special and well done (service/ambiance/food/wine) I fought my last breath to finish my apperitif and at least to have some zips of wine to each 4 different wines they served that evening. Yupe, I was the one who was sobber and felt wonderful. Thus my date was a bit tipsy, he was also impressed by the wonderful dishes and wines. Nothing could numb his tongue I guess... ;-) So up to the 5 * !!!
